These are the three most important things in becoming financially successful.
Time – When you lose money there are still many opportunities to earn them again but lost time can never be recovered. That’s why it’s a good idea to start investing as early as you can. I’ve met people in the past who said they are interested but never took the first step to do it and years have gone by and they are still have not done investing. If you have not started investing yet then read through these notes to learn what you need to learn and then start doing it. Opportunities and growth of money is proportional to time. The more time you have, the more opportunities you can capture and the more chance for your money to grow.
Health – Like time, health is universally accepted as extremely important. Minor health issues is probably not going to prevent you from investing and becoming financially successful but major health issues can delay or even stop you from becoming a millionaire. So take care of your health and convince your family to do the same.
Mindset – If you don’t have the proper mindset towards achieving your financial goal then it will be almost impossible to reach it unless you’re extremely lucky. The first thing you should do is to believe that you can reach your goal regardless of your current situation. You can be poor and have no money in your bank account but this should not stop you from believing that you can change it and even reach something that seems impossible given your current situation. Second is to tell your self that the road towards financial success is long but not easy. Being convinced and thinking that there is a quick way to get rich will likely get you nowhere and could set you back.
If you accept the fact that becoming a millionaire is a long term process that could involve more than 20 years and believe that you can do it, then you’ve taken a very important step of your journey in the right direction. Have a long term goal and have fun along the way while making sure that enjoying life does not veer you too far away from your path towards your goal.
